Definitely not. People don't realize how huge ATL-ICN is from an O&D perspective. ATL is the 5th largest US-Korea O&D market. Only LAX, NYC, HNL, and SFO are larger. ICN is ATL's single largest international O&D market (not LHR, not even CUN or YYZ). Much of this traffic originates from...

AF used to send A380s to DXB about 5 years ago, then downgauged to a 777-200er. It has since gone to a 77W.

Privatization would make sense if the 2 airports were stagnant. But in recent years ORY has changed beyond recognition with new wings in both terminals, rebuilding the aprons, bridges here and there. Now they only need to lift the movement cap or at least alleviate it to take into account jet noise ...

I recall they had slot issues into ORY waaaay back when they started receiving A350s. With this expansion I guess they're covered, I just wonder how they went from being tight with 5 planes on field to being ok with having around a dozen.

A332 are planned to be refurbished soon so they aren't going anywhere for now. That is good news. Is the plan to fit them with the Premium Economy and Business seats that AF is using on the 789s? Also the expectation that much of the demand will be from legacy carriers on existing A380 routes from Europe to US. That means for one or more of BA, AF or LH, although I did wonder about IAG experimenting on, say, MAD - MEX for IB. This would allow AF and BA to test the waters for more A380 ops. ...

Flew DOH-DXB a few times and the experience was rather different - 77W filled to the very last seat, only to be followed by another packed 77W half an hour later or so.
