The A350-1000 is a triple axle (6 wheel) designed MLG. The A350-900 is a double axle (4 wheel) MLG. The triple axle configuration was added due to the increase in Gross Weight.

I'm so glad that the Internet didn't exist when I worked at a major Air Carrier in the '80's. Gear-Up landings, missing O-rings on chip detectors, missing NLG doors on landing, cracked cabin outer panes. There were weekly events.

Pilots loved flying them, but maintenance hated them! Worked at Eastern for 8 years in the 80's and found that they were a good first attempt at a commercial aircraft - many initial issues like electrical connectors that were not skydrol resistant on the landing gear harnesses (Looms in Airbus talk)...

The landing gear is built with fuse points that are designed to fail at a given high load and prevent the landing gear from puncturing upward/forward into a fuel tank. Normally, they are to fail aft and lodge into the flaps which prevents the puncturing of the fuselage behind the wing.

Thompson is the US affiliate of Bridgestone - they retread tires (all types) and sell Bridgestone tires. I worked extensively with them in the '80s and they moved from Miami to North Carolina about 20 years ago.

The 767-400 is an interesting model. Only 48 frames were built for Continental and Delta with the split at 21 and 28, but I can't remember who got which sets of frames. The landing gear was unique and spares were an issue when changing out a set to be overhauled.

The max taxi gross weight increases on the -900ER to 188,200 lbs from 174,700 for the -900. The MLG is unique to the -900ER due to the increase in taxi and takeoff weights.

UPS and Boeing developed the -200PF freighter version starting with MSN 23723 (LN 139) which was delivered to UPS in 1987. Boeing assigned 757-24APF to this delivered configuration.

Much appreciated Stratclub and Yeelep! Agree - I don't have a full non-customized IPC for the NG's but based on the partial P/N was able to determine it is Boeing P/N 10-61337-13 or P/N 580-250-451 from Cablecraft.

At least SKA, SKB & SKD have freshly overhauled landing gear. Note sure if the spares market can handle 3 shipsets which should be around $12M-$15M per shipset to purchase. There is already one shipset of spares available.

Per the EASA Type Certificate EASA.A.151 for the A350-900 and the -1000, the -900 max ceiling is 43,100 ft. while the -1000 has a max ceiling of 41,450 ft. FAA Type Certificate T000631B lists the same certificated limits.
