Tallinn Airport has got some nice gains in the first quarter of the year. For the first three months the airport has gained 21,4%, 16,7% and 16,5% respectively and 18,1% for the whole quarter. These gains are significant as the airport grew only 2,5% in 2016. I wonder what's the driver behind these ...

Any narrow body will be able to make it. There are sufficiently fuel stations in between. A fuel stop would not even ruin 24 h rotation unless you have to wait hours for it to open. Tourists would not care about a technical stop if they avoid a change. I do not know, however, whether the bilaterals...

Re: Norwegian bookings are OPEN from SWF, BDL, PVD

I wonder if a bus link from SWF to NYC has been discussed on the forum before? According to the time table it takes only 1h 20min from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to the airport and vice versa. Not bad! Starting June 15, 2017 Coach USA's Stewart Airport Express will offer fast, convenient transf...

Swedish aviation tax could speed up Norwegian plans on flying transatlantic from HEL. Norwegian has previously stated that they will probably add 787s to HEL in 2018. It now makes more sense to address the Finnish transatlantic market with nonstop services rather than routing pax through ARN which h...

Re: Be big or go home: Ryanair adds more than 200 routes for W17

Finland is still almost untapped. Ryanair doesn't have bases in Finland. There are only two summer routes from Tampere (TMP) to Bremen (BRE) and Budapest (BUD), both twice weekly. There should be plenty of potential at Helsinki airport (HEL) and, to a lesser extent Tampere (TMP) and Turku (TKU).
