Re: Frontier Airlines Network Thread 2018

Just by browsing through Frontier's various social medias, people are getting visibly upset that they haven't opened up their schedule for the winter yet. As of now, their schedule only goes out 5 months until mid November, while most other airlines have other schedules going into January/February....

Question for those more in the know about Allegiant? I was perusing the recent schedule extension for G4. Starting in early November most all of the G4 flights from TYS appear to originate and end in TYS. The only exceptions I have found are busy travel days around holidays. It appears there are 2 ...

Re: Spirit launches AVL

Given this news of NK announcing AVL, I’m even more surprised that they still lack service to DC area on a legacy carrier or regular service to DFW. AA is now running seasonal, Saturday only service to AVL so maybe that will be escalated soon. Seems the ULCC are finding a real opportunity there that...

Where did you see that? In the AVL Spirit thread. It's just speculation, they're making their way west towards BNA, it could be next I don't know. It's possible. I mean if they're not done, GSO-AVL-TYS?-BNA?-MEM? Did they say there will be more announcements? I doubt it will happen right now becaus...

Good point. It’s been years since I was last there. I think it may have been the late nineties. If I remember there were 2 passenger boarding bridges on an upper level and 3-4 ground level gates. Has it changed since then? The terminal was partially renovated about a decade ago. There are six gates...

Absolutely!! FLL is going to be a blood bath with 3 flights, all on a ULCC. Customers in AVL and FLL will be getting $10 one way fares by the looks of it..lol But In all honesty, G4 will be able to hold their own in FLL and PIE. SFB I would be a bit worried about as MCO is much closer to the theme ...

I do find it interesting that GSO will now have 3 ULCC. Granted, G4 has rather paltry service compared to other similar sized cities, and F9 only does seasonal DEN service.

FLL, MCO, and TPA.

Good for both Spirit and GSO. I have always thought this would be a perfect airport for them given how underserved it is. Will be interesting to see if they grow beyond just Florida.
