Something I found rather amusing today on flightradar is there was a canceled DL 738 flight TYS-PHX. I’m assuming that DL scheduled this prior to the NCAA Elite 8 or scheduled it by accident and then quickly canceled it. A little salt in the wound for the TN Vols basketball fans haha!

Have any idea of why the variance over CHA ? You're only 100 miles from each other, should not be that way .. The local airport authority has always said that it is because TYS is more of a business heavy market. Oak ridge national lab, TVA, a large University, etc. all contributing. Can't fault th...

Knoxville has had about 10 inches of snow today with an additional 2 inches expected tonight and TYS is completely shut down as of 7 pm with numerous diversions earlier today. Both TRI and CHA appear to be operating.
