Re: United Airlines Network - 2024

EWR is the busiest domestic airport in the NYC market, it serves more domestic passengers than either LaGuardia or Kennedy. Why would you move what one has to assume is profitable domestic traffic from EWR to IAD which no doubt does not command the same revenues as EWR. That makes no sense. Just in...

Considering it's a leisure-heavy route to Hawaii, I'd wager a week's salary most passengers wouldn't know a Polaris interior if they were seated in one. I bet 95% couldn't tell you whether they're getting on a 777 or 737. They saw "nonstop", "United" and "fare" when bo...

SJC is premium for longhaul specifically, alongside SFO which is premium everything. LAX and SNA as mentioned. JFK and LGA. SJC just has "The Club" lounges which are bottom tier when it comes to airport lounges and SJC is over 63% Southwest. Don't think that meets the OP's definition of p...

Big tech and related support at both ends. Lots of related college overlap too. I feel that once the LAX route opens up, most SoCal students will fly to LAX instead of SFO.
