Don't forget Trenton (and TTN) is part of the NYC Metropolitan area and not Philadelphia's. It's a shorter ride from Trenton Transit Ctr to the City, than Ronkonkoma to the City as well. There is no mass transit to the terminal...only taxis. That is why TTN is never seen as a viable airport for air...

Re: Frontier Airlines NYC Discussion

I'm surprised that F9 hasn't tried anything into EWR. When slot restrictions were removed, NK added 9 flights a day into EWR as B6 moved all of its Florida flying from LGA to EWR. Today's schedule has FLL x 4, MCO x 2, and IAH, MYR, and DFW x 1 each. Surely F9 could consider some services into EWR.

The 787-8 is about 30t heavier than the 763ER, despite a similar configuration. A reengined 763ER (or even 764) would be very competitive with 787 economics on shorter hauls. How much difficulty would there be to certify the cockpit for the the 767-2C in the 767-300 or 767-400. Also, would it be po...

Re: Thai Airways hopes to return to US - nonstop to California/New York

Thing is, BKK-New York still requires a specialized ULH plane (unlike BKK-California, which can be done with standard currrent-gen longhaul widebodies like the 789 or A359), with plenty of fuel tankering and probably without the yields to cover the costs. And there are plenty of options to do it on...

Also, I doubt that the A320neo will be offered as the business jet replacement for the A319CJ. How is range an issue with the CSeries? http://www.gcmap.c...
