They have planned to / already fit their 788 with crew bunk so should be good for all 3 routes. Now their 788 only used to fly regional routes across Asia and Australia so they should allocate the 6 788 into Europe. If the demand is good I'm sure they will upgrade to A359 later.

It will definitely be a price war. Wondering when TZ will secure the license to fly into US.
Finally TZ can fly direct to KIX from SIN. Previously they worry TZ will eat into SQ's share if they fly direct into Japan but it seems they have figure out that KIX is a very strong market.

SQ had a 3 to 4 types of wide-bodies in it's fleet in the past with A330, A380, 777 and leaving 747. This LOI if it goes through would maintain this diversity with A350, 787, 77X and A380. Love the blue LED light across the overhead compartment. LH should be the second operator to select that options after Qatar... SQ, AY, CX, CI all do not have the LED lighting... Shame those other airlines haven't opted for it, very nice feature in my opinion. Me too, not sure how expensive is that...

9 abreast 77W with D7 is very interesting. The lease rate must be very attractive for them to do such decision.
I am more interested in the DMK - FRA route though. If the route is performing well then TAAX should be able to expand a few more EU route.

I think the flying to JFK via FRA is viable along with direct flights between SIN and EWR. SFO will sustain a flight to SIN via HKG, along with the non-stop.
