I see on planespotters.net, on the Delta site, that they are showing a future A339 with a different cabin config… instead of the usual C29/W28/Y224 config for all the first 20 + frames, they show a C32/W46/Y184 config for a future frame. Anyone know about this and how many are going to be configure...

They scramble to turn the aircraft late at night. If they take a delay its delayed until the morning. The airport closes at 2 AM. That's one of the reasons DL now arrives in 6 AM and leaves 8 AM back to US..

Another Item that nobody mentions is Cash. I have seen 4 LD3 cans filled with bricks of cash. Each brick was 100K and each LD3 can had over 100 bricks inside them. Being shipped from the Fed reserve bank. Armor car, police and bank officials making sure it got all loaded.

Most of the winter fruit and vegetables are shipped up from South America to US and Europe. The flowers for Valentine's come South America. Gold is also shipped out of South America. AA keeps those widebodies busy.

The flight was originally ATL-BOM if the state of GA renewed a jet fuel tax exemption. Since GA allowed the lapse and didn't renew they decide to place the flight at JFK instead. You can set up your computer and antenna to track all those airplane for less than 100 dollars. The world of SDR is an amazing hobby. You find all kinds of stuff like helicopters and police aircraft flying around you.

The standard is going to be 191. They took 3 seats out to expand the galley. Which brought the count to 189. Marketing decided they needed to add 2 more seats. Those two seats added where front of the exit row.

The reason MCO-GRU was started was to help G3 out with their network. The number one destination Brazilians wanted to go was Orlando. Since at the time DL had those frequencies plus the equipment and G3 didn’t. Now that GOL can fly to MCO with the MAX it was a matter of time.

The announcement was made GRU-MCO is being discontinued. Interesting note they are starting ATL-ONT in April and adding a 2nd flight in June. Didn’t see that one coming.

Yeah, I don't understand the secrecy / suspense either. It could be as simple as they themselves still not yet knowing which one they'll finalize on. Based on the S19 schedule released so far, it looks a lot like ATL-BOM using the 77L. Routing a 77L through JFK would be problematic given where else...

The engine has many life limited parts. Once those hard limits are reached those parts have to be replaced. Scavenging life limited parts from one engine to another is like robbing Paul to pay Peter.

787 canceled order is the reason delta bought 737-900ER. It was the only way Boeing let them off the hook.

Yeah the writing is on the wall for the MD-90’s Sending engines to the sole MRO in New Zealand isn’t good in keeping costs down. Delta is forced to write them a blank check since fighting with the MRO on price can cause them to close shop and would ground the MD90 fleet.

Several people have repeated the same cities here. What are the rules? Is it an airport linked via a special train or line? (JFK, BKK, HKG). Are we looking for an airport that is intergrated into the public transit rail of the city? (SYD, SIN, ATL, PDX, SLC, MAD)
