With AA's size in RDU, is there possibility of starting a second TATL route? Probably RDU-MAD to leverage IB/OW across the pond?

I even think IB AEP-MAD is very doable on an A359. Though I feel this would already be a route without government regulations favoring Aerolineas.

Though given B6 is looking at flying the XLR out of FLL, maybe AEP’s first long haul route is AEP-FLL. Not sure if an XLR can do AEP-JFK nonstop.

In the past AR had an extensive network to Europe and, since 2001, the network is only to MAD, BCN and FCO - despite a briefly time when they had MD-83 to LGW and CDG from MAD.
