I believe the only US carrier to served CAI was TWA (perhaps PA did too). They had continuing service onto Riyadh. In fact TW had a massive ticket office in Tahir Square across from the Nile Hilton and Cairo Museum. :checkmark: At one point in time, TWA was flying twice daily from Cairo with B727. ...

I thought their Aussie flights always routed through Bangkok. Miss those days, row of 747s in Sydney marching the ethnic makeup of the suburbs — Alitalia, Olympic, JAT (DC-10), MEA. QF2 ex LHR routed daily via BAH and SIN, but I also recall that for a while one per week was supposedly routed via DAM but never actually stopped there. Wonderful Trip Report jrfspa320! I have an Emerald Status with UL and enjoy their service to Europe. Anyway, you missed out on that KIRIBATH breakfast into Colombo. That is one awesome breakfast dish - something like Nasi Lemak in Malaysia/Singapore, Nasi Uduk/Gurih in Indonesia.
