LOL...I was going to post this...saw it a few days ago - Early in the video an announcement can be heard calling for boarding of a flight to "Washington National"; any idea who was flying an IAD-DCA tag when this was filmed? Probably AA or BN. At that time DFW was beyond DCA's perimeter.

In 1920s and 1930s, there was only one company- United Aircraft Corporation which included both present day Boeing and United. I guess it must be the first US airline to fly on its own metal .. Jetblue would be unlikely, as they would essentially be competing with the operation they have at FLL. Personally I feel you’d see an A380 in B6 colors faster. Don't see why B6 can't offer 4 flight s to JFK and 4 flights to BOS. My understanding is people in Miami HATE driving up to FLL...those poo...

I'm surprised no one mentioned the obvious: PSA's L1011s which had the integral stairs and entry area through the lower cargo area. Word has it they ordered them that way from Lockheed because they wanted to fly them to cities without loading bridges. I never flew on one but there are pictures here...

How fun must this have been? If aircraft were taking off on runway 13, don't they make a right turn very near Shea...and the same with a left hand swing just before landing on runway 31?
