For the most part over the holiday season, its been 3 MD-80s RON, all leaving the next morning. On Sunday night, there were 3 MD-80s that arrived, but only 2 were scheduled to leave the next morning. Picked Dec 23rd as a day to check flights for SRQ. I haven't seen this many flights since the early and mid 90's 28 flights on this day. I'm sure the extra capacity is due to the holidays. While 28 flights isn't a lot for TPA, it's fairly significant for SRQ NYC - 6 DL, B6, UA ATL - 7 DL DTW - 1 DL...

IIRC , HP and US were the only 2 airlines that got loan guarantees.. UA applied but got turned down.


The bailout money was to make up for the 3 days that the system was shut down. Everybody, including WN, got THAT money.
