Have a good flight!

Had Skybus lasted, they would've probably served LAL

Love the reporter's response

Similarly, WN occasionally shows up at IAH for diversions or charters.
MIA has unveiled it's long term capital improvement plan. Among many improvements, this will eventually extend a taxiway that will eliminate the famous holes. But this is a long way off.....probably Just a heads up! :( See at 5:40 mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN8SAdCBdUY Enjoy the many pics ...Jump to post
Agreed - have lived here for 25 years and just found out about it last year. It's amazing. I think it's only been there about 3 years MKE has two viewing areas around its perimeter and the top level of the parking garage is decent as well. I've been to the one on Layton Ave...where's the other one?...Jump to post
MSP has an outdoor viewing area literally in the middle of the airfield, at the intersection of two runways and on the taxiway to a third. It’s really excellent. That’s for 5/12. Today is 5/11.
I guess if it’s scheduled to re-enter revenue service tomorrow, it should ferry up from BFM sometime today.

The other thing with leisure travelers, particularly from DTW, is that if the destination is within a full one-day drive, it becomes much harder for a cost conscious traveler to fly, especially if they are traveling with others. Richmond is borderline, but still a long, but doable full one-day driv...Jump to post
When people make that general statement, they are generally referring to US bankruptcy laws. Mho Chapter 11 bankruptcy protects an entity and allows for reorganization with a bank lien/security interest. No government bailout there... Indirectly, aren't the airports and airlines essentially owned by the same entities in the ME3? Indirectly, aren't almost every larger legacy airline and airport essentially owned by the same entity since they get bailed out by the government each time they get in trouble UAL, AA, and DAL have been...Jump to post

Already a thread
A very very very VERY very VERY very very very VERY very very VERY very VERY very very good source told a bunch of us that Spirit was very close to starting SRQ last year. They went with JAX instead..so I'm hoping for this year.
I assume DTW would be one of the routes
Because of the MIA haters on this thread, my thread got deleted. So, I'll tell the people here. More mature people here so I thank you all for that. Anyways, marketing director at MIA, Chris Mangos, said that Japan is about a year away. We're hoping for announcement sometime in the winter. You didn...Jump to post
Well...it says 2019, but were these tallied for year 2018?
Not sure WHY regionals are included, they basically do what the majors tell them, don't they? I don't know if it's true, but their is a lot of speculation on this site that Delta shoves it's delays onto it's regionals

EDIT..RSW starts same day
Elite Airways....more than 10 aircraft AFAIK
Silver should be in the Regionals
AS & HA are legacies, no? They're old...older than WN. I think AS is older than AA
<sarcasm> An airline managed directly by accountants.... what could possibly go wrong? $1.00 to use the lavatories $0.50 for each sheet of toliet paper... $1.00 to wash hands </sarcasm> Don't forget this: https://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/25/590x/secondary/Standing-seats-plane-vivacolomb...Jump to post

Some odd DL Charter related activity at SRQ last night. DL8883 (757 N668DN) arrived from MCO around 7pm, and then took off to ATL at 9:30. DL8890 ( 757 N6703D) arrived from MEM arrived at 11:15pm, and it appears to be sitting at SRQ as of this afternoon with a scheduled departure to Syracuse within...Jump to post

FYI, NK is repeating their past w/c entry. In 2011, NK announced PDX-LAS on 6/20 (with 2 daily r/t), OAK-LAS (3 daily r/t) was announced on 6/22, then on 6/23, they announced SAN-LAS (3 daily r/t.) Service on these 3 routes began in August & Sept 2011. (To be clear, these represented NK's entry...Jump to post

I have a few questions 1. The 3 days I was there...the UPS aircraft landed on 17L and taxied all the way over to their area which is waaaaaaay on the other side of the airport. Why not use 18R 2. While I was there, the BA 744 would always use 17R. Is that normal? 18L is a lot closer. HOPING TO GO BA...Jump to post
