Re: When Will JFK extend terminal 4A?

The CR2's will be phased out by moving more 700/900/170/175's into NYC, so you'll just have bigger RJ's Yes but on the same token some of the "heavy" RJ flying will be replaced with 717 and eventually the CS100. I would expect to see that more out of JFK where frequency isn't as big of a ...

Re: When Will JFK extend terminal 4A?

T4b has around 53-55 depending on configuration Isn't it more like 30-32 gates? How many widebody gates have split parking spots and jetways for narrowbodies? Correct. OP probably said 55 because the B gates go up to B55 but they don't start at B1. The first B gate is B18 but that is the gate for t...

When Will JFK extend terminal 4A?

By comparison, t4A has 6 gates, while T4b has around 53-55 depending on configuration: Why hasn't T4A been extended? In the evening, there are a pool of wide bodies that surround t4a but don't have an airbridge: This could easily be solved if t4a adds 4-5 more extra long jetways such as at heathrow'...

Delta currently has a daily ATL-PHX A330 flight. this seems bizarre, PHX not a particularly large station for DL. Maybe cause it's winter? You called it, Snowbird season. DL has always flown 767s on the route during busy season. NW used to fly Dc10s and 742s. Terminal 3 in the 90s/Early 2000s was t...

Which gates at T5 are a332 capable? Already cleared or not? Aer Lingus tends to use Gate 12 or a gate near there, but it's pre-cleared. I am surprised AA is retiring the A333. They should look at Deltas's love with the aircraft instead of the 777 as the A330 has around a 10% lower fuel burn per mission than the 777-200ER. This is due to the lower range/lighter body but fills the mission for Europe/South America well. The 787 is wel...
