I was not suggesting that they should replace their B77W now.

Also, it should be noted that KE and OZ are 9-abreast B777 operators so they are the perfect candidates for the A350. The A35K can serve as a perfect B77W replacement at KE.

Let us also not forget that the A350F is NOT the same length as the A350-900 or A350-1000. It is a unique aircraft in the family so no reason why it should be named after either previous variant.

I wonder why they didn't divert to somewhere BA has service and is capable of handling an A380 either in northern Africa or southern Europe. Where they could have worked to get the PAX back on either other airlines or flying another bird to meet them. Seems easier and definitely than flying an A380...
