I would say IAH due to being February plus IAH has some good restaurant selections, has a Polaris lounge as well, if you have access to that.

If you have short connection less than 4 hours, then IAH is the way to go. Long lay over I would choose ORD, due to Chicago is a bit more touristy.

Without DC as a capital, UA wouldn't really be their, most of their international flights serve for government/corporate contracts. Obviously serves as a relief for EWR, just as PHL serves a relief for AA JFK hub.

Just looking at the seasonal tourist markets i think UA can pull off MXP, FCO, MAD, or BCN. AA is doing it from DFW, Spain is obvious cause of One World. UA can connect lot of traffic down south.

I would really love to see IAH - FCO or MAD. Dallas can pull off both, MAD I understand OneWorld station, but FCO IAH can also pull the same traffic AA does.

The things is TK and RJ, brings pax to Israel, from Europe, North America, and Canada. EL, can't really bring pax to those countries profitability. A pax coming from London going to IST, via TLV would already pass IST in the air, wouldn't make any sense.
