Comes down to demand. Africa - Singapore traffic is not sufficient to sustain the suggested routes IMHO. SQ competing with so many carriers some of which fly directly into SIN or BKK or KUL or HKG or Australia anyway and with much of that traffic connecting. EK is the main competitor. SQ is clearly...

LH i am sure send pax out dallas not alot but few to like IAH, SFO, LAX, and DEN. We all seen those fairs. I've even seen fairs connecting from AUS to IAH on other airlines etc.

I remember in IAH, ANA, KE, and BR use to all advertise the route to Singapore. I wonder they can launch 3 times a week IAH to SIN, while still keeping the IAH - MAN - SIN.

That's true, but EY just dropped there service recently, I think just has to do with the front cabin load or cargo.

To make use of cooler temperatures when it comes for their departure times. I think it has to do more with the banks, If I leave India/Pakistan at 3 am I can get to Dubai by 5/6 am connect on wards for 7 to 8 am departure to DFW, YYZ, LAX, ORD and etc. For the EU carriers same I can leave BOM by 3 ...

Flights that are longer than 3 hours I usually buy food, I tend get hungry on planes usually grab subway or sandwhich, and fresh fruit. If I am traveling from America to Middle East, I will bring nuts, sandwhich, and some candy.

I am 6 foot 4 inches, I had the skycouch on Air New Zealand from IAH to AKL, I had the best sleep I ever had in economy. The pillow, is a big fluffy pillow, thicker blanket, and thin mattress. You can take EK 407 then FZ 333 or EK 600. This is the shortest layover, I found. DXB not much of back track from Karachi fairly close just maybe like 1 hr 30 min flight.

I even knew someone who flew Air china from AKL - PEK - ISB - KHI lol, such a back track. Most of my aussie mates use to Thai to Pakistan, there A330/777 is the old product that goes to Pakistan. Surprised BA doesn't have well established destination choice from BHX, MAN, NCL, EDI, and etc after all it called British Airways. Virgin should take efforts on making MAN a better hub. Flying into MAN and taking train to London is cheaper anyways than flying DFW to LHR direct.

Even if VS was not moving the DXB slot to BOS I doubt anyone in their right mind would cut DXB to start BAH. BAH stopped being a financial hub over a decade ago and corporate traffic is loyal to BA or GF. That's why I said, Virgin should partner with Gulf Air.... I am pretty sure Gulf Air trying ma...

Why not fly to CGK, team up with Garuda. Garuda help them cover AKL, SYD, MEL, PER, and other destinations. As BA has MH. They can use Garuda, or team up with SQ.

I agree team with up with DL start AUS. Since DL want's to use AUS as future hub. DL can start adding flights using AUS as feeder to XXX - AUS - LHR - XXX.

Lol Virgin Atlantic should try Islamabad, not bad idea new airport, lot of business between the two cities.
