Re: USA Thanksgiving Flight Issues - 2023

I have a question about “busiest day of the year.” On any random Wednesday, it seems like almost every flight is already 100% full, do the airlines fly additional flights? Because otherwise I don’t see how it could be any busier than 100% full. Certainly passenger mix changes with families being slo...

Do not feel guilty about this for one minute. You worked in your current role for about 15 months. No one expected you to stay in the job for much longer than 15 months and if you did ...

Next time fly Southwest, they do not have annoying policies like this. Plans change, just cancel and rebook, no fuss. My AA hell story is getting force downgraded out of revenue first class. Buy an MCE or a First seat problem solved. I so dislike this. So if you don't pay 3x more for a ticket, we are going to make you uncomfortable? Besides, most 737's have aboutt 12 - 18 first class seats. It isn't really a Boeing or Airbus issue. It is the airline squeezing in more and more seats. It...

I suspect this happening because the pilots were not always reporting all of their income and thus engaging in illegal tax evasion.

This is normal withholding for US income tax. If you don't believe this income should be taxable that is a different issue. If you are going to pay income taxes, IRS requires withholding out of each pay check. I don't see how this is controversial. The other option is for the pilots to complete a qu...
