Re: Update on PAE (Everett) Commercial Passenger Service

At the start of the year I thought of staring a thread for PAE for 2019, including doing a timetable on the flights. Haven't got around to it yet, but here the local newspaper did what I intended to do. https://www.heraldnet.com/nl-weeklybusiness/weve-compiled-timetables-for-paine-field-passenger-se...

Re: The Future Of Hawaiian Inter-Island Travel

Every whisper I'm hearing is consistent. Lots of "round robin" type flights to maximize loads and also offer interisland. Example: OAK-HNL(crew swap)-KOA-SMF as one option, then SMF-KOA(crew swap)-HNL-OGG-HNL-KOA-HNL-OGG(crew swap)-SMF... and so on. That's probably the only way to make Hi...

Re: AA adds FCA, Double Daily DFWMAD/CDG, return to YHZ, 787 to ANC plus more

I'm surprised we're not talking more about the 787-8 to ANC. That's a lot of seats up north, and DFW is located pretty far south, in the contiguous US. What I mean is, if one were traveling from IND to ANC, would one rather go IND-DFW-ANC on AA or IND-MSP-ANC on Delta (or a similar itinerary throug...

Alaska Sale Prices at PAE vs SEA Alaska often times has selected routes on sale. Often times on Tuesdays a new sale comes out for the week. Sometimes they are shorter. Re: Why WN Gave It's PAE Slots to AS?

Pretty different than Cuba. The demand in the case of PAE already exists, it's just going via SEA and to a much smaller extent via BLI. I think this is pretty much spot on. There might be someone who doesn't want the hassle of SeaTac that takes an extra trip from a more convenient airport, but I th...

Quoting BA, "Unfortunately that doesn't help your argument about PAE, since AS and UA, which are coming to PAE, are not low-cost carriers." Enilria makes some potentially logical arguments, but I think PAE will be a success. As BA states, these are not low cost carriers. They will be offer...

I am assuming you are implying AS gave WN something for WN's slots at PAE. If so, what do you think the exchange was for the PAE slots? From other threads, I realize I am more optimistic about PAE's success than you are. I was surprised WN dropped out, even though they had the biggest planes and are...

9+ flights is an odd threshold. You got me thinking what the minimum should. Obviously it is subjective, but I probably would have guessed at least 52 as that would cover an average of once a week service.

Thanks for the list.

Let's hope you're right, since WN would turn BFI into another DAL or MDW very quickly. PAE isn't governed by King County or the Port Authority of Seattle at least. With what land?
