Re: The rest of Ohio - 2018

Delta has ordered 20 CRJ-900's due for delivery later this year. Makes perfect sense given their focus city strategy. I am sure it will allow them to start some new routes at CVG next year. http://www.businessinsider.com/r-bombardier-to-sell-20-aircraft-to-delta-air-lines-2018-6 According to other ...

Re: David Neeleman Raising Funds for New U.S. Airline

I hope "Moxy" looks at DAY. It is sad to see what air service there has become compared to even 10 years ago, let alone 20. The market is no longer there. DAY is a shrinking city. Plenty of service down the road at CVG/IND/CMH. Lower fares at CVG have hurt DAY, but the city has much poten...

Just announced today, the same guy that setup JetBlue is launching a new US LCC. They have ordered 60 CS300 aircraft. If the airline actually comes to fruition, I would imagine we could see this airline in some Ohio airports. http://montrealgazette.com/business/local-business/aerospace/jetblue-spin...

Re: AA's Upgauges to Mainline: More to Come?

The evening CLT to CMH and morning CMH to CLT should be at least a 319. The flight is always full, as are almost all of the other 6am-ish AA flights on AA. This leaves no slack in the event of a issue, such as an MD80 to DFW having some sort of last minute fuse issue, oil leak, gasket rupture, etc....

Their MO with some of their newer Florida cities has seemed to have been to start with IND, CVG, and PIT and add more Midwest / Heartland destinations if all goes well. SRQ might see places like LCK, SDF, CLE, or DAY next.
