Dear all, I am a hobbyist aviation modeler in SketchUp and currently working on an Air Arabia A320 in the new livery. It is steadily progressing but to be able to finish it, I am in desperate need of proper, high res pictures of the underside of the tail. I already contacted Air Arabia on Facebook a...

Yes this is true: https://www.nhnieuws.nl/nieuws/280057/videos-zeldzame-beluga-wijkt-uit-naar-schiphol.
I however don't know why they chose AMS over other airports. Could be because it was en route from Chester to Hamburg when it diverted with AMS being somewhat in the middle?

Why is the AN148 not successful in India?

The An-148 is a high-wing monoplane meaning the engines and wing structure are protected against foreign object damage. This configuration allows the An-148 to be used at poorly equipped airfields. Taking into account that 93 airports in India have unpaved runways, it surprises me that the Antonov A...

I dont think so as the SSJ, MC-21 and IL96 are all produced and introduced under the separate brands (Sukhoi, Irkut and Ilyushin) that make up the United Aircraft Corporation. To me it seems this TU204 is going to be used for demo purposes (airshows etc). I also appreciate the silver Lada 2107 that ...

Portugal has, apart from flag carrier TAP, several other airlines around. Most of them are charter airlines, i.e. EuroAtlantic, Everjets, Hi Fly, NetJets Europe and White Airways. Why are there so many Portugese charter airlines? Is it due to favorable labour conditions or favorable tax regulations?
