Notice in EASA certification that -1000 has yet to get all weather CAT3, although the engines are cleared to ETOPS 120 under EASA RR certification. I believe it all boils down to the quasi-monopoly that AF enjoys in France, and their Paris-focused mentality. If BA is often jokingly referred to as Air London, then AF can certainly be called Air Paris! I don't dispute the numbers or the lower yields of non-Parisian airports in France, but surely...
