Second visit of the same aircraft. this seems better to me. hopefully, it passes the test
Hi Yousaf, If you want to use Curve to adjust them, would be better to do both at the same time by using Curve since contrast and brightness / exposure are related to each other to some extent. Here's what I will do, you can try it to see the effect on your images. https://r.photo.store.qq.com/psc?/...

Jump to postHey Yousaf, Beautiful morning light. It looks low contrast for me mainly, and the rear parts seems blurry / soft feeling for me. Not sure whether it's the effect from the engines of something else. Would be better for you to add some exposure / brightness after increasing some contrast in this case...
Jump to postjelpee wrote:I see your silhouette image got accepted. Nice!
Salam Air is over sharpened, underexposed and low contrast. I'd say it is a non starter.

AA 757: I'd agree with the rejection on appeal, windows and gear look blurry and so do the titles on the nosewheeldoor. AA 777: I'd say it needs CW rotation in stead of CCW. Furthermore light is terrible, a/c looks overexposed and windows (especially the front part) look blurry, which might be caus...
Jump to postRe the A320, since it was marked as low contrast, I would fix that and reupload as opposed to appealing. In the future, please list all reasons for rejection otherwise it is hard to make recommendations on weather to appeal or edit and resubmit. For the silhouette, you can check Creative Screening....
Jump to postCentering seems acceptable to me. I would appeal, if I were you. Jehan contrast is fine? If you're planning on just appealing and HIF was the only issue identified, then the contrast is passable. Wouldn't hurt to boost the contrast a bit, but for me it is not a show stopping issue. Here are screene...

Hi Yousaf, Flynas A320 looks not bad to me overall.Color looks fine from my side as well, but the quality at the sky seems kind of iffy as it looks noisy / compression at my side. I probably would second opinion this one by mentioning CW slightly and marginal sky quality since the I am iffy about t...
Jump to postjelpee wrote:I like that second shot...prefer it to the first. I'd tighten the crop more so as to avoid dead space on either side and also center the airplane in the frame.
Good stuff!

The aircraft looks a bit High in the Frame. However, for me it is acceptable. When you're uploading it, I would add a comment to the screeners that you have centered the based on top of the aircraft and the bottom of the sun just so they are aware of your motive for the slight HIF. Looks good and a...

5970317 This kind of photos should remain acceptable, as it was always the case, but people actually posing for photographer turns this site into a modelling agency. Following photo is what should be allowed. In both A/C is the main subject unlike that of Thai beaches. As for people only ranting bu...
Jump to postI agree with Karl’s recommendation. You may also want to see how a 16:9 crop looks to avoid some of the dead space above and below. Otherwise looks nice. Jehan. Thanks, edited as advised by both. Is is good enough crop? Contrast also increased enough? https://i.ibb.co/B29G5nd/IMG-3747-2.jpg

6000875 This photo has a clear blue colour cast on aircraft. Still went through in top 10 That comes form the reflection of the ocean. And aircraft blurry too. In aviation sites, aircraft's Wb, sharpness, focus all matter doesn't it? Night images under yellow light have been rejected for bad Wb. In...
Jump to postColor looks not so bad I think, but as screener mentioned that the body of the a.c has a little bit magenta / reddish color. That's only what the H.S. said after appeal (which has unfortunately become almost a standard procedure after any initial rejection), however the 'regular' screener rejected ...
Jump to postPanAm_DC10, I get your point but, in that case, why wasn't the post that originally veered off topic deleted? I didn't create it; I only added to it. Anyway... Credit where credit's due — I do actually like this one as there's more to it than just someone posing. I think the site should be acceptin...

Go ahead and upload it. I don't see any show stopping flaws. Jehan Actually I don't want the repeat of this https://www.airliners.net/user/photo-corner/photo/5983257. I agree, cpd . Given some of the incredibly minor things that will get a photo rejected, I find it troubling that photos where the aircraft seems to be an afterthought are not only accepted, but seem to be encouraged. I enjoy more creative photos - I've never been a "side on, perfect light onl...

Jump to postRegardless, I still disagree with it and it is cheapening the site and the reputation.
