Looks like PIT just edged out CLE in 2018 by about 12,000 passengers (9,658,897 vs. 9,646,645), although we haven't seen the exact total for CLE. It looks like the DOWN escalator in the center of the terminal from ticketing to the lower level is out of service. I've heard it will take 3 weeks to repair!

Anyway, bottom line, CLE wasn't going to support two airlines to Iceland. It's crazy, particularly in Winter. CLE has never even had non-stop Europe service in the Winter. Even CO was seasonal. Thanks for runway update. Was at the Stadium on Friday night and saw from my seat that the Burke runway was closed. Must have reopened. Check out UA2079 and UA1739 to and from MCO today. They are both operated by Polaris equipped 767-300s and scheduled to use A14. Aircraft come from EWR this morning and return tonight. Some sort of proving run? Wonder why they are using A14? Can’t any of the remaining UA gates on C handle wide bodies?
