I started checking this website out in 99 when I was 8. I’m 33 now. Began lurking on the forums until they opened up for free and joined. I guess that’s 25 years. This website has oddly been one of the most consistent things in my life.

I couldn’t disagree more. The current livery screams y2k. To me the Landor is timeless. Something timeless is something that works through a variety of eras and ages like well. Classic rayban sunglasses, converse, Peterbilt 379s, countless albums from past decades. If we want to focus on livery’s s...
Jump to postWhy is it that whenever Banksy paints on a public wall/signboard, it is considered art but if anyone else does it, it is called graffiti? Scale, subtlety, humour, understatement, originality, mystery, social commentary that people connect with, to name a few qualities. If there are people who find ...
Jump to postBring back the previous livery. That one was phenomenal - timeless with more class than the current The previous? You mean Landor? Sorry to say it but, yuck! That's hopelessly outdated. It may have suited the times back then, but it's definitely not timeless. It just screams '70s and '80s to me. I'...

Jump to postIn the spirit of adding to the list of high paying jobs - sales people with 5-10 plus years of experience in the right industries are able to make $200k -$1M and probably average around $250k-$300k after about 10 years with a little skill and good career choices. Probably the best money you can make...
Jump to postNicely done although specific to Terminal E, some of these are arrivals into E and departures out of other concourses, a la Jetblue, TAP, American, correct? When it comes to E,1 & 2 are clearly for narrowbodies, yes. Can 3 handle a widebody? Yes, most international airlines use E for both arriv...
Jump to postI'm flying UA to LAX in the fall, and my flight was recently downgauged from an international configured 752 to a domestic 7M9. Given that I'm flying Y for that trip, it doesn't make much of a difference to me (though an inch less legroom and a 50-50 chance at IFE screens isn't so great), but for p...

Jump to postIt’s kind of up to the audiences perspective and how bad they perceive the artists bad deeds. I can’t watch the Cosby show anymore or listen to an r Kelly song but I’ll gladly see one of Louis CKs specials.
Jump to postNot interested at all, but from a musical standpoint, US country and rap music have the same roots: rural English and Irish folk music. Any country song can be a rap song, and vice versa. It’s basically the same genre anyway. They also use the same accent - again, from rural England. They don’t hav...

Most of these routes I’ve flown the 767 on several times - I doubt I’d have an accurate count but I can recall most of the routes if that’s at least of interest 767-200 DL RSW-ATL, BOS-ATL AA JFK-LAX CO IAH-EWR 767-300 DL BOS-ATL, ATL-SEA, ATL-TPA, ATL-RSW, ATL-LAX, ATL-MIA, MSP-LAX, JFK-LAX, EDI-BO...
Jump to postThe fascination with carry-on is fascinating, I’m going on the 2-day trip to CLT next month, checking my bag. It’s far enough enough to drag it from the cab to the counter. Not sure why you would call it a fascination! It’s more like a time-saver. I’d rather have 45 minutes to do other things than ...

JFK because sometimes the fares are several hundred $$ cheaper than BOS.
I think you're way off. In fact I'd venture the 1% is closer to those who drive but that'd be an exaggeration too. Driving to NYC during rush hour is a royal PITA. It's at least 4-5 hours from Worcester into Manhattan and even longer if you're crossing the Hudson. And parking in the city is absurd....
Jump to postThere are some 50+ daily flights between BOS and NYC. Plus Amtrak. Are you saying that every passenger on those flights/trains are either connecting or live in Boston? Lots of people fly between greater Boston and NY. Worcester's catchment includes some of those same people. Having said that, lack ...
Jump to postI thought I might try it out just for the novelty of flying an older widebody into FNC from my home airport but 2-4-2 on the 67 sounds like more of a punishment than a treat. I prefer the old 67 wide body any day over the A321 sardine tube. The A321 neo did not make it better for the passenger, jus...
Jump to postWhy would anyone fly from ORH to NYC unless it was to connect? There are some 50+ daily flights between BOS and NYC. Plus Amtrak. Well stated. Even the most ardent MHT supporters would happily choose BOS for obvious reasons: Price, schedule, and multiple options should something go sideways. MHT loses every time those factors are considered. I’m originally from southern New Hampshire and flew hundreds of business flights into...
Jump to postThis is just anecdotal, but from what I am seeing when I book tickets, ORH is starting to see their prices substantially higher than Boston, especially on the New York routes. I have had to fly through Boston several times now because it would cost me more to fly through Worcester than to drive and...
Jump to postKind of a bummer that Delta is phasing out the 75S. I finally flew a roundtrip in each (ATL-SNA-ATL). Was very enjoyable in first class. Not as easy on the eyes as the A321neo, but much more comfortable. I thought the 757s had a good 6 more years left? I’m guessing by easy on the eyes you mean the ...
Jump to postLooks a little like a cross between the a350 and 757…. Would love for that to be a reality. The engines are hideous but if the rest of the plane is beautiful I can live with it…
Jump to postI’ve flown all 3. I’d go BA a380 for comfort and novelty. Grab a window on the upper deck - there are large side storage bins by the window, allowing for tons of extra shoulder room and a far more spacious feeling than other economy seats. I found it to be a really convenient and unique feature. The...
Jump to postI think it wildly differs by route demographics and fares on the route. On other flights every seat is selected and just having a regular m...
Jump to postI had this problem with a Lufthansa / UA booking I was trying to set up for BOS-EWR-FRA-EDI with LHR-BOS on return. Most of the women I know including the lovely one I travel with have a lot of liquid products that come with - we have to do the silly charade of splitting them in half and putting half in my luggage so security deems our liquid amounts acceptable. Jump to postIve switched to using Turo in most situations. It’s like Airbnb for cars. Jump to postTowing isn’t really too complex, and AA manages to offload at E and tow to B usually within 45 minutes of arrival, which I’ve found very impressive. A bit confused here, some people are suggesting this order will be the 767 replacement, is that true? The 350 seems too big for a lot of the 767 markets. I’m a bit confused where all these new 350s would be deployed. I think you’d see a35ks replace some a359 routes, a359s replace some a330 routes, ...
