Re: With SEA's growth would SK consider coming back

I forgot to mention the gate space issue in my original post, but yes, that's going to be an issue for any new entrants to the market for the foreseeable future. I wouldn't be surprised if gate availability factored into the recent EI and CX announcements. Both carriers had been rumored to be mulli...

Re: Irish 7/18: Heatwave madness!

I just got back from a trip to Ireland from Seattle using the new Aer Lingus direct service. Full planes both directions and service was good, FAs were v friendly and helpful on both legs of the trip. I wasn't impressed with the pricing model on the in-flight WiFi however, 120MB for $16 or 270MB for...

Also, Vancouver is increased to 5w Really fascinating - who actually uses this service? There are obviously no connections on the DUB end. Cheers, C. The Irish population has expanded massively in Vancouver over the past decade so I imagine this service is aimed mostly at the O&D market. Also t...

Re: Washington State air service discussion

We in SEA love seeing new international carriers! But where are they going to park??? I was eating at the A-Concourse getting lunch before my flight. I was dumfounded by the number of international flights moving in and out...including the LH 747-8i. I'd guess that EI would park either at S and jus...

Despite reports of less than stellar bookings & a lacklustre advertising campaign, AC to YVR is in the schedules for next summer again. Must have done better than thought Long time reader but first time commenter here! I was on the YVR-DUB/DUB-YVR last month and loads were pretty high on both l...
