ET's European destinations are primarily based off of Outbound European travel to Africa. However, BCN is primarily an inbound tourism destination, and I doubt there's much demand to BCN from Africa. Thus, it didn't work for ET.

Baltimore and Washington are 2 distinct metro areas (but 1 CSA), BWI is commonly used aS Baltimore's primary airport and as a low-fare airport for DC travelers.

Another big competition is ET with its 4x daily flights. With daily Swiss,Turkish and 6x/week LH in the mix as well, seems like Star is a competitive force out of NBO that Skyteam members are trying to reduce.

Why do you say so ? I have yet to hear of issues EK is having in Africa. If anything, most of their African routes were on 777s prior to the rapid A330/340 retirements of late 2016.

If I'm not mistaken, Sylhet is home to a good portion of the Bangladeshi diaspora so if EK is targeting VFR market that may be the next destination. However, Chittagong is the 2nd largest city and economic hub/large seaport so this may be a more enticing destination in terms of yields for EK

I'm pretty sure IAD is next on the list. YYZ is about to go to daily soon on AC so they should probably be codesharing, but then again YYZ has a very large Indian diaspora so a 2nd daily is not as crazy as it seems

I still can't believe this, this is more shocking to me than MCO. Yes, FLL is a B6 hub, but MIA is the International Gateway to South Florida, and Miami (I assume) has a wealthier market to support this flight. What connections are at FLL, that cannot be supported by B6 at MCO, BOS, or JFK ?

This is an improvement for SEA since the current Int'l arrivals facility in the South Satellite results in arriving passengers having to recheck their bags to the main terminal baggage claim or carry them on the train to the main terminal once they've finished customs.

What I've noticed from the EK 77W, which is 3-4-3, is that the aisles feel very tight and make it a little difficult during boarding and deplaning
