Was down on the lake today and around 4:30 3 f-18s flew down the lakefront heading north. They were well under all the O’Hare approaches and even below the GA traffic, anyone know if there was some sort of special training going on or just a good scenic flight around the area ? Bears game flyover? ...

I hadn’t noticed that satellite 1 will be able to handle international arrivals before. Will these gates have dedicated customs facilities or a sterile tunnel back to the new T2 for processing ?

If they have their own customs facilities it’s a huge win for UA and *A to have even more availability.

Tornado Flying Over Sorbara(mo) Italy

Twice this morning I heard a military jet and rushed outside to see a tornado flying in a west northwest direction over Sorbara, they were flying at a very low level I would guess lower than 1500 ft, is this normal in this area? I am new here and not aware of any air force bases around.

With the Boeing planes the last three numbers/ letters represent the series and then the customer code. for example a 777-222 would be a 777-200 and the 22 represent Uniteds company code.
