According to this website; TC-CAN has not been sold or rather been sold from TK to Turkish Government. So it is just an accounting sale. TC-CAN 345 is still with the VIP fleet. Let's wait and see if another source can second this.

Couple more news from TK website:
-Our Incorporation has decided to purchase one B737MAX, two A320CEO/NEO, one A330, one B777-300ER, two B787-9 and two A350-900 simulators, a total of 9 simulators from CAE.
-One A340-500 aircraft, used in VIP services, has been sold.

Keep in mind the larger TK business plan post opening of the new airport has room for up to 100 smaller feeder aircraft. This was stated by Kotil a couple years back and would allow TK to link many tertiary markets to the new IST hub, and also provide a platform for some smaller p2p flying. Not sur...

This is a major win for Turkey as all of these tourists used to spend their summer in Croatia. I guess everyone counts. You are talking about Heathrow right? No, talking about JFK Terminal One, where TK flies 3 x daily during summers. SAW will see TK longhaul service and connectivity first, where TK has already studied this for both leisure markets like BKK, and also for a more traditional market like NYC. It is incredible. Only a few years ago when TK said it will fly to 35 destinations in Africa, I remember we could not come up with 35 city names in Africa here at a.net. TK just opened its 52nd destination in Africa; Freetown, Sierra Leone.

-YoY 36.6% increase in pax to a total fo 5.7M pax in January.
-LF incrase 7.3% to 79.8%
