Hi there,

Nearly perfect day in SAN today with little no wind, and yet arrivals and departures are off of runway 9. Any idea as to why? In a couple hundred trips out of SAN I’ve never taken off this way (although I do know it happens).

I can be a total pizza snob given the opportunity. Sally’s in New Haven, Tony’s in SF, yadda yadda. But I gotta say, sometimes nothing will scratch the itch quite like a dominoes pepperoni thin crust. Pretty much Michelin star stuff after a couple beverages.

I flew OAK-IAD regularly from about 2002-2010, then went completely to United. I’ve gotta say I really miss that service. Weird to think it’s completely gone. Really wish B6 would put mint from Bay Area to WAS. United needs more competition.

My Tumi ballistic rollaboard has lasted though 10 years, 2 million miles, nearly 1,000 flights. With the exception of a little bit of fraying around an outer-pocket zipper that was fixed free of charge, it works and looks great. Worth every cent.
