SQ have made many silly mistakes over the years.... mostly getting away with it. This was just the most shocking. Not too long after this they hit a tail stand in Taipei while taxiing... continued to the runway and departed ... after being told what happened. Seem to remember a crazy 77W landing in ...

VP-BAO delivered direct from Boeing to Sharjah back on August 17th..... then nothing. They do have facilities there but you would think they need the aircraft at this busy time. It's a real shame the A380 did not fit all Airlines as its simply the best plane to fly on as a passenger (for those of us in Y anyway) it's so quiet inside.... My opionon after flights on BA and LH.

Correct me if I'm wrong but once you land harder than the limit it doesn't matter if there is any visible problem.... You ground it for checks.

Clearly some here wanted it to be a big deal but it wasn't. Seeing its flying already and did the ferry flight pressurized.

I listened to the recording, did the pilots not say they won't dump fuel?

Should you dump fuel without informing ATC... at least so low over a city?

The second frequency did ask for the POB and fuel AGAIN.. This was a little annoying so I understand people talking about this.

My guess is China since they order in big batches and they don’t list the individual airlines till delivery. I think China is in no position to take more widebody aircraft right now.
