Re: Australian Aviation - March 2024

I've noticed that United have been sending their 772's here lately instead of the 773's... does anyone know why? I know it's not a significant change but I was honestly just curious haha SYD presumably? Was a scheduled change I one service. Can’t recall for how long, possibly March only? Yes, the 7...

Re: Australian Aviation Thread - December 2023

I think many on this forum said that this is exactly what Bonza should ensure it doesn't do. Rather to grow carefully and maintain schedule integrity to build its brand. I'd be peeved too if my pre Christmas flight was cancelled and told next available was Boxing Day https://www.msn.com/en-au/trave...

Have to say I completely disagree - I hated my experience on the 321! Was the A380 ever considered by Qantas to fly domestic routes? In a similar fashion to japanese airlines and their 747 back in the days. Much of the problem is the gates - as far as I'm aware, there is no gate at any domestic terminal that can fit an A380. They could use a remote stand, but I don't...

Indeed. It would be great to see them do PER-WLG and PER-ZQN too, but IIRC WLG and ZQN's short runways wouldn't allow for the return leg. I could be wrong, but having just been through this recently, I think it depends on what actually happens to the flight. For example, our flight was EWR bound, but diverted to CLT. On the ground in Charlotte, we were parked at a gate, but forbidden from exiting the aircraft. Ultimately, the flight ...
