Colonial has a second pipeline from Lake Charles, LA they can use to feed CLT, my friend works for them.
Also a bigger problem is the second largest refinery in the US is in Houston and it has shutdown and will be down for at least two weeks.
Ultimately I think the AA widebody fleet will consist of A350-900, 787-8,9 and maybe an order for the -10, the 772/3. The same storm system came through CLT, AA had no issues except the normal ones.
I know plenty of crews at DL and they all stated the system crashed, you had FAs in airports for almost two days with no hotels.
DL couldnt find their crews, as the scheduling system failed.
AA is not getting out of their A359 order, they delayed it too next year.
They will be replacing the 333s that will be retired, 757s, and 763s.

It will be staffed with foreign based AA mechanics, no outsourcing, not job loss.
