Re: Delta Air Lines Network Thread 2018

Word is the Austin Chamber of Commerce will have a big Delta announcement on Feb 6th. Very curious to know what that is. Hmmm interesting....the director of IND said the the city and the airport had a major announcement coming in the next few weeks, he refused to say anything else about it but it i...

Re: The rest of Ohio - 2018

It is hard for me to fathom that DL would turn around and add CVG-MEM, after having eliminated that route in the fall. I also agree that I was pretty confident the route was gone for good. Though, if both CVG and MEM are pushing DL for it (possibly monetary incentives/get some kind of corporate con...

Quite a few timing tweaks to the DL schedule this morning. Interestingly, they did add a CVG-ORD flight for Saturday and brought the frequency back up to 4x/day during the week. I don't see anything changed for CMH/DAY. Apparently AUS is having a big DL announcement on Feb 6th, I would expect anythi...

Re: The rest of Ohio - 2018

@jplatts, I doubt any foreign SkyTeam carriers would serve CVG. Most of them don't serve smaller markets and they do not have the aircraft (752/763) to make such routes work. DL's own metal would be the only possibility. I feel CVG would need more connecting traffic to make a CVG-LHR flight successf...

Amazon Air expands CVG hub by 210 acres

Amazon Air just announced that it is purchasing an additional 210 acres for its hub at CVG, bringing the facility to a total of 1129 acres. The hub is getting really, really big, that is a lot of parking spaces for aircraft! http://www.nkytribune.com/2018/01/amazon-purchased-an-additional-210-acres-...
