I think Delta has demonstrated that passengers don't really care that much about the actual age of the plane as long as the service is reliable and the aircraft doesn't look & feel old on the inside. In recent years, DL has done a pretty good job of keeping up and refreshing aircraft interiors;...

ERJ and CRJ, in the 135/145 and 200 variety are one of the only planes I can fall asleep on, lol, especially if there is some decent turbulence. The older interiors have far better padding on the seats and are more comfortable and you cannot beat how quickly the plane loads and unloads. Only downsid...

Besides the ones named above such as NYC, I always look between both DFW/DAL and HOuston hobby and IAH when I fly to those areas. Delta serves both in both cities.

As to why not Mexico City, I think it really has to do with a bigger focus on Russians traveling to Domican Republic instead, if they fly out this far west.

I do believe there may be more business travel in the future as the BRICS now are working more closely with Mexico.

Problem would be, when said star would like to go for a late night out they can't simply leave their hotel room but need to contact the FBO, they most likely would call a bus to pick you up a the plane and to the FBO Terminal.
