Re: Aseman Airlines plane crash in Iran

Contrary to earlier reports, the aircraft does not appear to be found yet. Given the total lack of information, and thus the possibility of survivors, I hope the search and RESCUE efforts are intensified. Trying to avoid politics here, but I would hope modern ELTs were not on any embargo or sanctio...

Such a stupid comment about the pizza. Like saying Americans have not tried sushi.

Am surprised it was ACY and not EWR or PHL, even JFK which has SU presence.

I suppose at first it was really supposed to be a fuel stop before discovering a leak.

Impressive for the A321 but no way in hell would I want to be on a narrow body for that long if I have neighbors sitting next to me. Sorry that is an absurd comment, the seats on an A321 are visibly wider than a 10-abreast 777 or 9-abreast 787, and the same as a 747, A330/340 or A380. The only diff...

Terrific for Boeing and SU. The 10 across in the 777 was fairly nice in SU spec and I am sure better money wise than the 8 across A330.

Plus with SU group picking up the TransAero slack plenty of places to deploy, especially with Russia trying to exponentially develop the Russian Far East.
