Re: Aeroflot's USA routes

As to why not Mexico City, I think it really has to do with a bigger focus on Russians traveling to Domican Republic instead, if they fly out this far west.

I do believe there may be more business travel in the future as the BRICS now are working more closely with Mexico.

Re: DL May Push C-Series Order to AM Avoiding Trade Duty

Could Aeromexico take delivery from Bombardier, but DL buys the aircraft off of them? Shady yes, but perfectly legal. This is essentially a "sale-leaseback".... Delta sells their plane rights to AM, and then AM leases them back to Delta. Depending on how the trade penalty is structured, t...

Re: United 77W EWR-TLV, why?

Just to add to the NYC/TLV market... Yes, EWR is fairly safe and distinct for those traveling from NJ. From NYC, for the cost concious folks, besides the direct flights you also have a number of cheap one stops. If you fly JFK/SVO on Aeroflot or JFK/KBP on Ukraine International, a good amount of tra...

Re: F9 expands TTN destinations to West Coast

The article says that passengers don't have to deplane. As far as parking goes, I wished it would have been cheaper but if any needed improvements were to be done it needed to charge. $8 isn't bad your not going to find anything much cheaper at EWR and PHL. PS $8 includes all taxes and Fees I would...

I can see a few of those... up you still have to get off the plane and are still wasting time you saved by flying out of TTN in the first place. I flew them to Florida once, but now that parking at TTN is not free, I just go back to EWR or PHL, get my skymiles and can visit the lounge. Would take F9...

Problem would be, when said star would like to go for a late night out they can't simply leave their hotel room but need to contact the FBO, they most likely would call a bus to pick you up a the plane and to the FBO Terminal. Such a "Delta" thing to do. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Good for United to picking up solid used aircraft for what is likely to be really good price.

Don't they have a bunch of 737's on order though?

Terrific for Boeing and SU. The 10 across in the 777 was fairly nice in SU spec and I am sure better money wise than the 8 across A330.

Plus with SU group picking up the TransAero slack plenty of places to deploy, especially with Russia trying to exponentially develop the Russian Far East.
