I met and chatted with one of the cabin attendants from that flight a year or so ago. Very nice fellow, who told me that the crew and passengers would have regular meetings since. RIP Mr Moody, he came across as a really good bloke.

GLA won't come back. The second daily EWR-EDI uses the old EWR-GLA flight numbers. Flight numbers have nothing to do with whether or not a route comes back or not. But usually it’s an indication.
