WN likely is not going anywhere, but odds are their expansion is done; . Not hardly. When MAX 7s arrive with their additional range, expect more stateside service from more cities. DEN ABQ??? Altitude & 90 degree heat in DEN summers & 90+ degree heat in ABQ in summers could cause an issue t...
Jump to postI would like to see more nonstops to the east coast other than the limited BWI and JFK routes. IAD, BOS, CLT, PHL would all be nice.
Otherwise, rebuild the frequency on the west coast flights. OAK and SAN being down to 1 or less flights per day in particular are a big downgrade.
I’m confused, if a controller tested positive, why were they not self isolating while they waited for the results? Seems selfish to still go to work while you may have a virus that is currently affecting most of the world. They may have been isolating but once the positive test comes back I imagine...
Jump to postI would also like to emphasise that Italy was relatively warm in the past weeks. So don't hope for the virus to disappear easily with warmer weather. The idea that the virus could slow down significantly when the weather warms is very much still a possibility. Over the past few weeks, the average h...
Jump to postThe only reason to buy time would be to develop a vaccine. And not years from now, but months from now. Treatment sounds cool, until you recognize that treating someone and send him/her home only can get that person reinfected again. And again, and again, and again. So that is not a permanent solut...
Jump to postThanks for starting this thread and for the detailed summary of changes to ABQ/SAF flights.
Where do people see as the most likely new cities to receive service? Could JetBlue create a ABQ-BOS route or is that too long of a trip to justify the economics? Would AA bring CLT back? UA to IAD or EWR?
Anaphylaxis from unknown allergies is actually pretty common, including foods that kids have eaten regularly. "Approximately 20-25 percent of epinephrine administrations in schools involve individuals whose allergy was unknown at the time of the reaction." https://www.foodallergy.org/life-...
Jump to postI’m not sure the bulk of the loyal Southwest customer base has any interest in going to Europe - for business or pleasure. Just different customers than some of the other legacy airlines. I don't believe this. I just think they have a large amount of customers at airports that WN is the biggest air...

Newark is part of the NYC MSA and is heavily marketed as being one. Newark has been shortlisted as one of the AMZN 2nd HQ contenders. I agree with you - if you still exclude EWR, then it is only Chicago that is the next in line with the next being MIA, FLL and the DC airport areas.
Looks like 10L from the flight tracker: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/SWA ... /KABQ/KOAK
Jump to postI was on a Southwest flight that landed on 10/28 today. I've flown into OAK many times but have never landed on anything but 12/30. Does anyone know why we might have landed on 10/28?
