All gate usage at T2 is common use, it’s just that as of now, SY and WN use what appears to be their own gates. Expansion would benefit SY, because WN is not growing at MSP at all. No new routes for MKE but +11 daily departures from last year October, about a 58% increase. 2023 will see 30 per weekday versus 19 last year. 2019 October was 33/day so it's not complete recovery yet, but with a higher diet of 175-seat aircraft in MKE total capacity should be about 94-95% of 2019....

MSP has been one of the slower airports in terms of growth. Labor Day weekend was still 14% lower than 2019, while many US airports were seeing at or above 2019 for the same holiday weekend.

These are two airports that are used to large snow events happening, they will be fine. MSP is only supposed to get around 3-4 inches of snow on Friday, so that will be nothing. When is DL going to resume MSP-HND/ICN? There's companies like General Millis and other Fortune 500 with operations in the Pacific. Currently, it’s not until Spring. Keep in mind, those Fortune 500 companies exist here but they aren’t traveling. Biz travel is pretty well on hold for large companies...
