You may have missed this. Re: When Will B6 Pull Out of LGB?

That said, what about B6 paying another carrier (say Allegiant, Spirit or Frontier) to trade their LAX gates/presence for LGB slots. The ULCC's would still largely be in the same market (at a less favorable airport nonetheless) but would walk away from LAX with cash and the type of customers that f...

From ORD, I wonder if PHL might be considered. NK ran ORD-PHL in 2015-2016. http://ir.spirit.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=906989 Both NK and F9 were overlapping each other on it for a period, and AA, WN and UA went ballistic. I dont think the F9 MIA cuts are too significant, one is SJU which should speak for itself, the other is taking ISP-MIA from 2x to 1x... 2x to start is pretty aggressive for a route that never existed (plus the new yorkers on long island are probably going to PBI/Boca area whereas those in Manhatta...

What is the need to make basic economy as punitive as it is? How do they expect to compete against ULCCs with a worse fare product? When Frontier first set up shop at TTN, it was the consensus on a.net that it would have to poach from PHL and, to a lesser extent, EWR. It didn't quite work out like that. The traffic that it took from PHL wasn't "PHL" traffic, it was TTN traffic that had used PHL for lack of service at ...

I actually wonder in PHL-JAX is one of those spring break Feb-May routes. It's being offered in the summer as well. The CID-MCO flight arrives MCO at 11:55pm, which might affect it's performance adversely. Very late night flights into MCO (even on ULCC's which try their hardest to fill flights) always seem less popular; maybe it has to do parent's dislike to their kid's sleeping schedules.
