Re: Swoop Announces 7 Canada-US Routes

Sorry but I HAVE to ask…. what on Earth means Swoop ???? Is it soooo hard to found a more logic name for an airline? As far as I know, it doesn't mean anything. It just sounds fresh, young and modern and also a bit cheap. It could have been a slang word, most of them don't have any meaning either. ...

Re: BA Pax Claims They Were Forced To Sit In Urine

I really can't see this happening as stated. While the photo may be real, although it does look rather freshly deposited, spare seat covers are carried on most airlines and it's quick and easy to change even inflight and a layer of plastic (bag) would prevent soaking back up.

Re: 7 crew members in hospital after an AA flight experienced severe turbulence

An interesting concept: replace seatbelt lights with seatbelt stickers (like "no smoking" stickers they have) and install "do not walk" lights. Claim 2: said arrangements where result is achieved by replacing pictogram glass over existing light with said glass carrying pictogram...

Re: The shame that is KEF

I booked late to return from Paris to New York yesterday and took the option to fly Icelandair via KEF. For the money I really liked the airline, extremely friendly. I was also looking forward to stopping in a new country that sounds exciting. However KEF is simply shameful. Not even enough toilet ...

Re: BA ground staff LHR T5 last night

So I went to drop my mum and my auntie last night who were flying to SCL. We tried to use to the self-tag machines only to find out that they were both over the allowable weight on their suitcases. My mom was 600 grams over, and my auntie 1.1 kilo over. I asked the lady who was there for help and s...

Re: BA jet diverts to Azores, disruptive passenger !

What's the reasoning for going back to Gatwick rather than giving the crew time to rest and continuing/flying in a new crew? The reason is given in the link. "Crew did not then have sufficient hours to reach Kingston but did have sufficient hours to return to London and the aircraft therefore ...

Re: SXM webcam is no more! :(

PTZtv appears to be doing a pretty good job at stirring people with their woe is me attitude and accusations of sabotage, yet the hours of the cam being offline during the past 11 months have been minor and mostly documented to power outages. From PTZtv's own posts they have said that there was no m...

Usually the crew stays until the next flight home. However, they could also deadhead to another city to work a flight home after appropriate rest.
