I'm pretty sure a box cutter when extended has a relatively large blade. Alaska still has Chester on their tail, along with the Hawaiian girl on Hawaiian. The only major US airline that hasn't really changed too much is B6, but then again they started in 1999 and have made some changes to their livery.

End result will be flights being cancelled when a customer is noncompliant, and since it's outside the carrier's control, the rest of the customers won't be entitled to reaccommodation on other carriers, compensation, etc. Just reaccom on the next online flight or a refund if they choose not to fly...

Using them is not the issue, earning them is the issue. Big difference in the amount I'm earning now with all airlines since we switched from a mileage based point system to a revenue based one.

Pre 9/11 security wasn't fantastic, but I can't believe how we Americans take the abuse of the Toilet Safety Administration everyday. They hire the most incompetent people on the planet. If I didn't have TSA Pre-Check through my Global Entry membership I'd have gone crazy by now.

While conditions were not ideal, I think the flight crew did everything in their power/that they could. Remember these are Trans States crews not United so customer service would be 100% better. On mainline United she would've been kicked off.

We had a damaged winglet that none of the replacement parts would fit. For this plane they were drilled to fit and the holes on the two replacement parts were no where near close. Liquids rule world-wide needs to be abolished. Obviously agricultural/customs rules and regulations need to remain in place but the fact carrying a water bottle or cup of coffee through security is a threat is laughable. I think this rule was started by airport food vendors.

Great trip report! It seems like the lounges are getting better and better with their offerings! Delta is great during IRROPS, allowing you to re-book on your own on their app during day of travel or beforehand via Twitter!
