I don't think the actual shipping bit is the issue. With the UK outside the customs union suddenly the amount of paperwork needed for each shipment will increase. I'm not sure easyjet is any better here. I recently booked 3 tickets GVA-ORY, 6 months in advance. During the reservation process, 90% of the seats were empty, and there was tons of empty half-rows.
