If (and I guess must) "SF" has to be in the name, then call it: "Oakland-San Francisco Metro Airport"

More importantly they should be improve terminal, which looks very dated. And attract some more airlines and destinations.

In fact from Bay there aren't much eastbound non-stops anymore on WN.
Previous to pandemic there used to be following non-stops to set coast.
OAK-BWI
OAK-MSY
SJC-MCO
and I may be missing few.

Hilarious/weird sounding thing I used to find when in PHX airport.

I once flew out of SFO on a VS 744 and it departed on the 01's...rotation was just past crossing 28R. So I wouldn't have thought a 19 departure to be that problamatic. Ground clearance is decided primarily which engines will be hung under the wings.
This opens options for later mods/stretches based on same basic frame.

I think they all 1R approach, till 12.20 PM local time.
I think at 12.30 there was 28 depature to asia also.
After 12.30, that heavies were landing 28 and rest were landing 1R.
For example China Airlines, Qantas came in on 28.
Most departures were 1R/L.

If you are not compelled to take private transport or taxi.
Take the TXL bus. It starts right outside the terminal and takes you to your hotel or connects you to all BVG / DB transport network.
