Re: RUMOR: DL to Announce MSP - ICN

I have a gut feeling this will be a replacement for HND. With BOM starting as well and 777 mods going on, I don't see how Delta has the slack in the fleet for this. I wonder if DL will also start SLC-ICN. SLC has gone gangbusters with Europe service so there must be a market for one Asia flight. Pro...

Re: E-175 rising, Q-400 declining?

Americans hate turboprops. They just have a bad reputation here. Four of the top five airlines in the US have significant E170/175 fleets. The bigger issue in the US is that the Q40 is classified the same as the large RJs now at the US3 so for them to operate the Q40 they would have to trade it for...

And that is why a DTW JFK combination with the A350 is way better than ATL-BOM. What JFK can't capture DTW can and with Delta's most fuel efficient aircraft. YES THE FLIGHT IS FLOWN BACK TO A HUB EMPTY. Not necessarily. Delta uses specific aircraft (almost always Boeing 757-200 but occasionally Airbus A321-200 as well) for only sports charter flights. In this case, N664DN, a Boeing 757-200, was the aircraft that carried the Capitals. According to flight...

If they decide the 778 does a better job replacing the 77L (much later down the road) than the 359 or 789 then maybe 10-15 of them. Other than that, nope.
