Great news for Richmond and this frankly shows the stupidity of WN. WN took over the MCO route form Air Tran and then abandoned it although WN said it was profitable for them. :checkmark: :checkmark: :checkmark: Anyone who lived in Richmond ten years ago remembers what a great little operation AirT...Jump to post
So many pictures! Loved all the airlines and I also liked the magazine route map. I could easily see the destinations served in North America. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!Jump to post
I generally fly United, but I have been looking at other airlines as well to Florida. (Sometimes JB is lower than United on some flights) However, a few people I know that have flown with JB in the past few years stated their quality has gone down.. cancelled flights, delayed flights (hours long) e...Jump to post
So I have been thinking about the AUS expansion for a while now, and finally decided to sit down and hash out my ideas of who would get what gates. I have no insider info, but I am applying some basic logic to predict the new gate distribution: DL +4 (as discussed on this thread), WN +3 (largest ca...Jump to post
Wow. Wow! Thanks for all the pictures. Shenzhen's terminal is indeed beautiful. I appreciate seeing the airlines in a part of the world that I won't see. Thanks again for sharing your trip with us!Jump to post
The last airline to try a "true" hub/spoke where Alaska might have a fighting chance would be MCI. Vanguard, in its last days, shifted from a lot of point-to-point, and from what execs said, MCI was doing really well. They just had a lot of baggage with the changes and it wasn't enough fo...Jump to post
Nobody has mentioned (yet) that Continental had a "sort of a hub operation" in GSO for a short while. If it was to compete with DL at ATL, US Air at CLT and AA at RDU and BNA at that time, it didn't work. GSO would be a lousy market even now for a hub, but to be fair, that was a Continent...Jump to post

Wow! Thanks for the great trip report. The views from the plane were spectacular. And, thanks for getting some excellent pictures of Monarch birds.Jump to post
I'm surprised we haven't heard from a certain AS employee commenting how unfair this is. But, to agree with others, the judicial system will at some point render its decision. I've got popcorn with butter ready to go for this show.Jump to post

Great review. I agree, DUB looks like an excellent airport. And those views from the plane - wow! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.Jump to post
I hate to tell you this but apparently AAG is not listening to your advice. The online skeds for June 2018 are showing 2x daily DAL-SAN and 2x daily DAL-PDX so both of those markets from major west coast cities are being doubled up. (I haven't yet looked at other markets or the entire DAL summer sk...Jump to post
A great plane with a beautiful livery. Congratulations to HA!Jump to post
They should cut DAL. Time to give up on a non-core market. It's a waste of resources that could be better utilized on the west coast.Jump to post
