Had all of that new Florida flying been previously announced? If so, I must have missed it. Loved the apartment. I too, would have arrived six hours before the flight, if nothing but to enjoy the FC lounge and shop a little bit. I'm not too sure I'd sleep too much - it looked like there was too much to enjoy. Thanks for a great report!

I pay $65/month for internet and 78 channels. I use FireTV as part of my Prime membership. As the OTT offerings become more compelling (Sling, DirectTV, Hulu) I'll cut the cord completely and will likely pay only $30. At that point, I'll use an HD antennae for the local broadcast channels.

The lounge looked amazing. When I flew internationally on a regular basis, I would always try and build an extra few hours into my itinerary to wander the airport and check out the various clubs. Thanks for the extensive trip report, and the pictures were great!

My personal experience with 30+ years of flying primarily with DL and AA - I was never bumped involuntarily. Both airlines were able to entice passengers to take another flight when appropriate. I fly UA several times a year, but frankly, I'll avoid them in the next year or so.
