Re: The Future Of Hawaiian Inter-Island Travel

I'm not sure about engines, but on these flights the duration is exactly the same either you do it in an ATR or a 737. I don't know if it's the same since the flights are slightly longer, but there are tons of domestic flights in Greece in the summer operated by 737s and A320s. Also this makes you w...

Re: Rewinged a320 family

A321neo is doing incredibly as well. With the A220 covering up to A319 size I don't see any need to bring back the A318, especially considering the not-so-great sales of the A319neo.

Why take less A350s? The A330-900 clearly does not have the range to fly many of Delta's pacific long haul routes except for the ones from Seattle. Delta may be deferring for the 251t version, which would have roughly the same range as the Boeing 777-200ER. But the 359 by default already has the ra...

Umm, no? The 78J can do that with a full payload and probably no restrictions (depending on headwinds). Plus I'd think the airline itself would know where to fly their plane.

The 779 has the perfect capacity for a 744 replacement. I assume they'll use it to replace the 346 on popular routes and in turn use the 346 to replace the 744, and the 359 for the 343. Otherwise the 35K has a very similar capacity to the 346, so they could order it instead.
