It says it all about the quality of the IT team that runs these sites that they can't get such a basic thing working even after months - it literally takes minutes to do this on any sane platform from the last two decades. I don't know of any way to do so. But as far as I can tell, it only affects when someone wants to save an image (they can't). In the screening interface, we're still having JPEG files. There are applications and websites which can convert WEBP to JPEG. But that's not needed as far as I experienced....
