A bit of that has to do with the time of year, with peak season its more about new routes starting than announcements - you'll find most announcements are made mid-year for peak season. Perhaps that is a factor, but nevertheless, there is actually a lot of news - we cannot post all about these news...Jump to post
As an aside, with the growth in the SIN mini hub, could we see a daily OOL-SIN on a 330 once the OOL expansion is complete? Would give QF an edge in the premium stakes there and provide an additional QLD daily frequency. Or, would we be more likely to see another BNE daily or upgauge to 388? Talkin...Jump to post
Please keep the thread on topic. This is about Australian Aviation, not a referendum on the quality or legitimacy of news outlets. If you'd like to discuss that, please go to the Non Aviation Forum, but that subject doesn't belong here. For many people, this addition to the QF fleet is an important...Jump to post
Flying QF51 in a couple of weeks, So I have been keeping an eye on times as I have a connection. Todays was delayed by 6hrs! any idea ? why. If that happened to me I would be screwed An767 Probably a tech issue as it was the same aircraft (VH-QPE) which operated the inbound from SIN which arrived i...Jump to post

Nice report, but would have been better with pic included instead of a video of still shots. .
Oh dear it seams nothing QF does or has done with the revised livery , that most do not to like it. We had in the past 1 member who wrote a protest letter to QF with his disgust. People don't like the font, the location of the belly logo the roo with no arms or the colour of the band on the tail . G...Jump to post
In other news The West Australian is reporting that VA's new business class will be based on JetBlues "Mint". I wounder if QF would consider naming their dream liners after the AFL and NRL teams and put their emblems on the planes, got to be better than Vegemite. Why is it people on here are fixated with names and schemes for the 787. Fair enough name them after Places , famous Australians etc. But just pa...Jump to post

Hey guys Re naming the QF Dreamliners.... Radio 2CH in Sydney ran a travel program today hosted by Catriona Rowntree (think 'Getaway' on Channel 9) which focussed on the naming of the Dreamliners. Most popular were indigenous names and landscape names. Famous people came third. A large number of pe...Jump to post

What is the fixation with CGD or Paris in general. Have QF looked at the ammount of pax changing to CDG in DBX and thought " (and the other rumered routes in germany etc) we can do this on our own. QF have not codeshared on NZ services for quite sometime. It's a basic interline agreement on some domestic NZ routes. So the Wikipedia article is incorrect. Thanks for the correction.
