Re: Irish 1/24: Ring out the old, ring in the new

I am amazed at how long Ryanair have kept what has to be a pretty heavily loss making Kerry running (2.5 years at this stage). Fares seem to mostly be around €20/25/30 and very rarely above (subject to VAT, which must barely cover the different airport, handling and security fees). The truth is an E...

How will the crew do an MXP-AUH-MXP in one duty period. Unless things have changed recently, the maximum basic flight duty period is 13hrs. This can be extended by 1hr by the operator with some restrictions, but that's still not enough.

What are the rules in Italy for augmented or double crew ops?

Any non-EU citizens could well have had visa issues with Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.

Even by Ryanair standards it does seem particularly poor form to leave passenger a 10+ hour bus ride away with no reasonable alternative travel arrangements.

I would grumble about a 4 hour bus ride finishing my air trip. But were it done moderately expeditiously only a grumble. I've had it happen on a train trip. Annoying, did not ruin my day. Their bus journey would have been a lot longer than 4 hours. It would be a minimum of 10 hours+, plus 2 sometim...

For example, it seeks to be the #1 or #2 airline at all the primary airports its serves as detailed on slides 22 and 23 here: http://corporate.easyjet.com/~/media/File...

That's not smoke, just part of the mountains (same as what you see under the plane).

I still think the most deadly aircraft accident in Europe for some years deserves a more appropriate topic title.
